Inslogic PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) filament is universally designed and compatible with FDM 3D printers using 1.75 mm diameter filament, with a guaranteed precision of ±0.02 mm.

Inslogic PETG filament marries most of the best qualities of ABS and PLA. It combines the ease of use of PLA with greater dimensional stability than ABS. PETG offers a good combination of properties such as toughness, enhanced bed adhesion, and stiffness. The finished part will have a glossy surface.

PETG is one of our favorite materials for 3D printing. It is easier to print, less brittle, with minimal shrinkage (0.1%-0.5%), and warping because glycol modifies the properties of PET. Also, it is an environmentally friendly material.

PETG filament has a healthy amount of flexibility, along with strong, durable properties and excellent heat resistance. It is ideal for molds, manufacturing fixtures, and functional print projects, providing your 3D printed objects with resistance to various chemicals including acid, petroleum, ester, and alcohol.

PETG also exhibits excellent thermal resistance. Its use is universal, but it is especially suitable for housings and insulating parts in electronics.

*Compatible with Bambu Lab AMS and A1 mini.

Printing Tips

Printing Tips
  • Before printing, make sure the surface of print bed (build plate) is clean.
  • It is recommended to use an adhesive on your build plate as a protective layer. After the print finishes, rinse the build plate with warm water to remove any excess adhesive. Alternatively, you can use a cloth or sponge soaked in warm water.
  • PETG can be printed with or without a fan. For optimal interlayer adhesion, PETG is best printed without a fan. If you desire high detail and minimal stringing, you can achieve this by turning the fan speed to 100%.
  • The nozzle head should be offset on the Z axis. PETG doesn't perform well when printed too tightly; there should be a gap to allow the material to lay down smoothly.
  • Store in a dry environment after use. For more details, please refer to the Filament Storage Instructions on the blog.
  • Dry before use if the material absorbs moisture. For more details, please refer to the Filament Drying Instructions on the blog.
  • Filament dryer box is recommended.
