Inslogic ASA filament is a high-quality functional material universally designed and compatible with FDM 3D printers using 1.75 mm diameter filament, with a precision of ±0.02mm.

ASA filament is UV- and weather-resistant. Printed parts are durable and tough. The solidification temperature is very impressive, giving printed objects excellent temperature resistance, with almost no signs of deformation up to temperatures near 98 °C. Thanks to all these properties, Inslogic ASA is suitable for a wide range of applications, especially long-term outdoor use.

ASA printing requires specific conditions. It’s important to run the prints in a well-ventilated room, because the material releases fumes and substances that could pose a potential health risk. However, do not create a draft around the print as this will negatively impact the result.

For strong adhesion and a successful print, it is recommended to use an adhesive on your build plate as a protective layer. For larger prints, we recommend 3D printing in a heated chamber. Wait until the print platform of your 3D printer has cooled down to room temperature before removing your 3D printed object. Keep the room well-ventilated throughout the entire process.

* Compatible with Bambu Lab AMS and A1 mini.

Printing Tips

Printing Tips
  • Before printing, make sure the surface of print bed (build plate) is clean.
  • It is recommended to use an adhesive on your build plate as a protective layer. After the print finishes, rinse the build plate with warm water to remove any excess adhesive. Alternatively, you can use a cloth or sponge soaked in warm water.
  • For large objects, it is recommended to 3D print them in a heated chamber.
  • Store in a dry environment after use. For more details, please refer to the Filament Storage Instructions on the blog.
  • Dry before use if the material absorbs moisture. For more details, please refer to the Filament Drying Instructions on the blog.
  • Filament dryer box is recommended.

Impact Resistance

UV Resistance and Weatherability

This material has excellent UV resistance and weatherability, effectively resisting the impact of sunlight, rain, wind, and other natural elements. It maintains long-term stability and strength, making it suitable for outdoor applications and environments exposed to harsh conditions.

Strong Temperature Adaptability

Compared to PETG, ASA has a higher heat deflection temperature. It offers a wide range of temperature tolerance, allowing it to maintain its structure and performance under extreme temperature conditions (both high and low), preventing deformation or damage caused by temperature fluctuations.

Applicable to Multiple Fields

This material is suitable for applications across various industries and sectors, including but not limited to automotive, aerospace, construction, energy, and other industrial fields that require high strength and durability, meeting diverse design and production needs.

Pre-Dried for Immediate Use and Optimal Performance

During production, the material undergoes pre-drying to ensure that users do not need additional drying steps, improving work efficiency and guaranteeing optimal processing results and performance.

Why Choose Inslogic ASA Filament?

ASA filament represents an enhanced functional material designed specifically for mechanical components and outdoor usage. With its resistance to UV and weather conditions, it proves to be exceptionally suited for a wide range of applications.
